Use this thread to post anything to do with your FAR test during the current period. When are you sitting? When did you sit? How did it go? Were you prepared? Was the test easier or harder than you thought? Waiting for your scores? Received your scores? Post it all here.

Could anything be scarier/more overwhelming than FAR? I'm not sitting this window but I got my gear today and my textbook is about twice the size of the BEC book. I took a practice test before studyign and got about 40% right. This sucks. I hope it's worth it.

I agree, it is certainly a lot of information to re-learn. But that’s exactly what it is: re-learning. You probably won’t see anything on FAR that you didn’t learn as a college student, and the questions aren’t likely to be any harder than your college tests. The biggest difference is being prepared for so many different areas at one time, which is certainly not easy, but can be done with enough practice and study time.

Andrew is right, the individual exam questions are no harder than anything you’ve seen before. The hardest part is just being prepared for the massive amount of information at the same time. I felt discouraged too, by the way, but somehow I passed! So stick with it!

I'm checking for my score pretty much every day, even though the scores probably won't be out for at least a couple weeks. Is there something wrong with me?!? This exam has consumed me.

You're not crazy - I do it too! Or maybe we're both crazy? ;)

Naw, I checked for my scores all the time too after I sat. Of course, I hadn't discovered sites like this that help you predict when the scores will be released!
